Proofreading
Translation for internal purposes can be made by the person who’s
mother tongue is not Russian. Though if the text is intended for official
use or publishing, proofreading is instantly recommended.
Proofreading includes correcting of the text with deleting phrases
and expressions not true to Russian language, checking of endings,
changing of "wrongly sounding" sentences and grammar constructions,
and correcting of mistakes.
I undertake assignments ranging from proofreading for translators,
magazines and newspapers and businesses to creative writing projects
including marketing material for companies looking to launch a product
or service to Russian speaking markets to reports, websites, editorials,
articles and ghost writing and many more. Whether it is a single
article, brochure or book, there is literally no project too big
or too small.
Rate for proofreading depends on quality of the received translation.
You can check the Price list >>
for the proofreading costs.
Attention: not every translation can be proofread.
In case if translation mainly based on the replacement of English
words by Russian ones without any grammar order - proofreading is
not possible: the text should be translated de novo.
